A senior advisor to BUZZMEDIA since August 2008, Alan Citron now serves as President, overseeing all programming, marketing, engineering and product development for the company’s portfolio of music and celebrity properties.

A veteran Internet executive, Alan was previously founding General Manager of TMZ, one of the most successful editorial start-ups in the history of the Internet. A former L.A. Times reporter and editor, he was the founding President of Ticketmaster Online. Alan subsequently served as chairman of Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch, and President of USA Networks Interactive under Barry Diller. He was also the founding President of MusicNet, one of the first digital music services.
