As CEO of BUZZMEDIA, Tyler Goldman has built BUZZMEDIA into the fastest growing digital entertainment publisher. Leading the company, Tyler has helped originate the field of social programming and expand BUZZMEDIA's audience from 3 to 112 million monthly users worldwide.Tyler is based in Hollywood and oversees a team of 110 employees across offices in Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Portland and Atlanta. Prior to BUZZMEDIA, Tyler worked extensively in digital publishing, helping found and build Broadband Sports, an early web publishing pioneer, and Movielink, a joint venture among Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Universal Pictures, and Paramount Pictures, which was sold to Blockbuster. Prior to his entre into the Internet industry, Tyler was a venture capital attorney at Wilson, Sonsini and a sports attorney at Steinberg & Moorad, where he represented Steve Young and Troy Aikman. Tyler attended law school at Northwestern University and business school at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern, where he finished first in his class, after graduating from Dartmouth College.
Prior to joining BUZZMEDIA, Matt was the CFO of Movielink where he was responsible for all financial strategy and operations of the company including leading the sale of Movielink to Blockbuster, Inc. in 2007. Matt began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided financial advisory and accounting assurance services to companies in the technology, entertainment and manufacturing sectors, such as The Walt Disney Company, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, ABC Networks, ADESA Corporation, and Hillenbrand Corporation. Matt is a graduate of Indiana Universitys Kelley School of Business.
Doug Rohrer brings unique experience to BUZZMEDIA. In addition to his key role at MTV Networks, where he spent more than 12 years, culminating in his promotion to Executive Vice President, Doug has more than 20 years of advertising sales experience. Before BUZZMEDIA, Doug ran "and," a digital advisory firm servicing clients such as IAC, Firebrand, SheSpeaks and Virgin Mobile. Prior to “and,” he was Chief Revenue Officer at Heavy.com.
Karina's more than ten years of experience in advertising, marketing and business development also includes roles at CitySearch, where she was Senior Director of Marketing, and Evite, where as Vice President of Marketing and Sales Development, she was part of the senior team that brought the business to profitability with over 1000% growth in both traffic and revenue.
As BUZZMEDIA's Executive Vice President of Corporate and Business Development since 2007, Jay Westlin oversees strategic growth initiatives, including commerce, technology partnerships, commercial licenses, non-brand advertising monetization and the addition of new publications.Prior to this role, Jay was Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Atomic Online (sister company of Gorilla Nation and now part of Evolve Media) where, among other achievements, he grew the company's male lifestyle network, Crave Online, 406% and its hub website CraveOnline.com 413% (comScore Unique Visitors). Furthermore, during his 20 years of entertainment media experience with nearly 15 of those years in digital, Jay has been a founding president of a company and has also served on numerous advisory boards.
