Animation
Animation is not to exceed 8 seconds except in special circumstances
User Interaction
-Any floating overlay or expandable portion of the ad must contain a clearly visible 20×30 [X] CLOSE or SKIP button that allows the user to stop the animation and close the floating overlay or expanding element immediately.
-”Same in-Same out” Expansion on mouse-over requires collapse on mouse-off.
Expansion on click requires click to collapse.
Expandable Ads
-Max number of panels: (4) at 100k max for each panel
-Expandable ad panels can at no time cover, impede or otherwise obscure site logo, or other in-page ad spaces (same advertiser exceptions permitted)
Audio / Video
-All audio must be user initiated on click
-Video can be host initiated. May only download/stream 1MB max politely. Maximum in-banner video duration is 30 seconds
-Must contain stop, pause, play, and audio control buttons
Surveys
-Control Ads are allowed but must be capped at 1/user/day
LEAD TIME
Standard Creative:
(2) Business Days – following receipt of creative within spec
Rich Media Creative:

Custom Ad Units:
Existing Custom Ad Products require a (10-14) business day turnaround, which includes gathering of assets, outsourcing to vendor, and QA. New Custom Ad Products with unique functionality and ad coding on the site will be handled by Ad Ops. Specialized units will be spec’d out and fully tested before it is approved and can be available for sales. Turnaround will be evaluated on a case by case basis with a minimum of (3) weeks to build and test.
