Bing turned to BUZZMEDIA to extend its sponsorship of the MTV VMAs online. BUZZMEDIA secured two artists from the Best New Artist category — Foster the People and Kreayshawn — and created original video content to tell their story to stardom.

Key Objective

  • Develop a branded entertainment series to seamlessly integrate the Bing decision engine messaging while aligning their innovative and emerging brand with the iconic MTV VMA’s and specifically the nominees for Best New Artist.

Solution

  • Inspired by our previous successful campaigns with Bing, BUZZMEDIA once again created visually captivating and entertaining stories fusing music influences and brand marketing.  The VMA series showcases emerging talent with Bing’s core functionality through a music-focused video series taking advantage of these unique capabilities. The content was programmed and promoted across all BUZZMEDIA properties and Bing’s YouTube channel, targeted towards connected and influential socializers, during the VMAs.
