Branded static or video integration using a superheader.  Clicking the skins can activate video plays, driving a high rate of streams. Most commonly used in a takeover with clickable skin and 100% SOV display.

The animated superheader involves an animation of characters, products, videos and text to appear on ad unit and wait for interaction. The unit is ideal for engagement around movie or TV show characters as well as an opportunity to showcase multiple products.

Push Down With Skin

Description:pushdown

The Pushdown is a premium ad unit that automatically expands downward pushing the site content down with it, expanding creative opportunities and capturing audience attention. The Pushdown unit then collapses into a persistent ad on the page which can be expanded by our users for additional information and functionality.

Most commonly used in a takeover with clickable skin and 100% SOV display.

The Peelback ad unit is an innovative opportunity that gives marketers high visibility. Located in the top right / left corner of the browser, this unit enables users to interact and unveil deeper content. When the unit ”folds-open,” the advertiser’s content lays over the editorial—focusing more attention on the marketing message.

  • Frequency capped at 1 Peelback per user per 24 hours
  • Default collapsed “teaser” state: 150×113 at 20k max
  • Expanded state: 675×508 at 100k max
  • Expansion must be user initiated and follow the “same-in, same-out” rule:

General

Animation

  • Animation is not to exceed 15 seconds except in special circumstances

User Interaction

  • Any floating overlay or expandable portion of the ad must contain a clearly visible 20×30 [x] CLOSE or SKIP
  • button that allows the user to stop the animation and close the floating, overlay or expanding element immediately.
  • “Same in-Same out” Expansion on mouse-over requires collapse 
on mouse-off. Expansion on click requires click to collapse.

Expandable Ads

  • Max number of panels: (4) at 100k max for each panel
  • Expandable ad panels can at no time cover, impede or otherwise obscure site logo,

Custom Ad Units:

  • New Custom Ad Products with unique functionality and ad coding on the site will be handled by Ad Ops. Specialized units will be spec’d out and fully tested before it is approved and can be available for sales. Turnaround will be evaluated on a case by case basis with a minimum of (3) weeks to build and test.
