BUZZMEDIA, the web’s fastest growing pop culture publisher reaching over 150MM visitors worldwide and operator of over 35 of the web’s leading music and entertainment news brands, is currently seeking a passionate pop culture intern for the Head of Recruiting.

BUZZMEDIA is a community of pop culture addicts, music lovers and trendsetters who come together to share content around topics they are passionate about, particularly music, fashion and celebrity news.

We are looking for a Recruitment intern who is:

• Reliable to assist the Head of Recruiting in-office 2-3 + days a week/20 + hours    per week

Duties:

• Assist with candidate flow and set up phone interviews
• Reach out to candidates and provide directions and answer any pre-interview questions
• Gather paperwork from candidates
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and schedule accordingly
• Input and management of the Applicant Tracking System (will train)
• Post jobs on appropriate job boards and manage flow of candidates

Skills required:

• Must be a pop culture enthusiast and like to have fun at work
• Be organized and good with administrative duties
• Have an interest in learning about Human Resources and Recruiting
• Must have high energy level and positive attitude
• Strong writing skills are required
• Knowledge of calendars
• Must have a passion for knowledge, hungry for learning and willing to contribute
• Excellent with MS Suite of products, Mac and PC’s
