The two will spearhead a celebrity project to be unveiled in fall 2010. Their teams will be based in Los Angeles and New York. They will report to Mike Porath, BUZZMEDIA’s SVP of Programming.

Mike Hess most recently served as managing editor of PopEater, AOL’s entertainment news property. Before that, he was an online editor at NBC and Fox News. He brings more than 10 years of news and entertainment news experience to the job.
Gillian Sheldon was previously founding supervising producer at TMZ.com, where she was part of one of the most successful editorial launches in the history of the Internet. Following that, she served as Editorial Director for Telepictures Productions, managing the day-to-day editorial operation of momlogic.com and extratv.com. Prior to that, she worked in television news.
