BUZZMEDIA APPOINTS TWO NEW SENIOR EXECUTIVES TO SALES TEAM, CHRISTOPHER SANDERS AND JUDAH WIEDRE

New Hires in San Francisco and Los Angeles Offices to Complement Company’s Rapidly Expanding Integrated Advertising Sales

HOLLYWOOD, CA, February 4, 2010 – BUZZMEDIA, the largest publisher of pop culture sites on the Internet, today announced that two new senior-level sales executives have been hired: Christopher Sanders joins the company as Vice President of Ad Sales in the San Francisco office and Judah Wiedre joins as Senior Director of Sales based in Los Angeles.

Chris Sanders joins BUZZMEDIA from About.com, where he served as Vice President, Western U.S., leading a team driving sales and client solutions across the region. With nearly two decades of digital and technology sales and marketing experience at companies including AOL, Philips and SONY, Chris will lead the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest sales teams and serve as a senior sales management leader, reporting to Doug Rohrer, BUZZMEDIA’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Judah Wiedre was previously Senior Director of Sales, West at Heavy.com, where he was responsible for designing and executing integrated marketing programs combining online, offline and mobile components for global brands such as Toyota, Microsoft, P&G, and L’Oreal. His numerous years of digital experience creating and working on integrated sales campaigns include positions at Veoh Networks and Flavorpill. In this newly created role, Wiedre will report to Chris Sanders and will be based in Los Angeles.
