BUZZMEDIA EXPANDS AD SALES OPERATIONS NAMES FORMER MTV EXECUTIVES DOUG ROHRER CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER & ANDI POCH SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF AD SALES

Online Media Publisher Adds Other Key Management and Sales Executives; Opens New York Office to Accommodate Growth

HOLLYWOOD, CA, August 27, 2009 – Doug Rohrer, formerly MTV Networks’ Executive Vice President of Sales, has been named Chief Revenue Officer of BUZZMEDIA, the largest publisher of pop culture sites on the Internet.Rohrer will lead all revenue related efforts for BUZZMEDIA, whose portfolio of top entertainment sites and communities reach more than 40 million users every month, and include Buzznet, Celebuzz, TheSuperficial, Stereogum, WWTDD, Absolute Punk and Just Jared.

As CRO, Rohrer is overseeing the significant expansion of BUZZMEDIA’s sales operations. The company has added key sales executives in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, opened a Manhattan office located at 276 5th Avenue, and upgraded its ad support staffing to service its growing stable of advertising clients.

In addition, BUZZMEDIA announced today that Andi Poch has been named Senior Vice President of Ad Sales. Poch, who previously served as Vice President of Ad Sales for MTV and MTV.com, will work closely with Rohrer to devise and manage sales efforts.

“These important strategic moves have helped us realize our goals of growing top-line revenue and attracting blue-chip brands,” said BUZZMEDIA CEO Tyler Goldman. “We’ve also made significant strides in our ability to deliver the type of highly programmed custom sales and sponsorship campaigns that attract top advertisers.”

Rohrer brings unique experience to BUZZMEDIA. In addition to his key role at MTV Networks, where he spent more than 12 years, culminating in his promotion to Executive Vice President, Rohrer has more than 20 years of advertising sales experience. Before BUZZMEDIA, Rohrer ran “and,” a digital advisory firm servicing clients such as IAC, Firebrand, SheSpeaks and Virgin Mobile.

Poch has served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing Partnerships for the WNBA, and also held senior management positions at Doubleclick, Phase2Media, Katz Media and Madison Square Garden. She joins BUZZMEDIA from “and,” where she and Rohrer were partners.

Rohrer commented, “BUZZMEDIA has the unique attributes advertisers are looking for. Marketers tell us every day how we can provide full value for them. They want scale against a hard to reach audience, brands that consumers trust and touch multiple times every day, an audience that’s dense with purchasers who influence those around them, as well as ad products and related programming that flat out perform because the audience and marketer’s objectives are considered in each campaign. We are already delivering on all counts; so with this talented new team in place, coupled with the company’s stellar portfolio of highly engaged sites, our offerings will even surpass our sponsors’ expectations.”

To further round out the team, BUZZMEDIA has added proven sales executives from leading digital media companies, including Rose Ferraro, Senior Sales Director, Western Region, Paul Magyar, Senior Sales Director, Eastern Region, and Cheryl Beley, Senior Sales Director, Midwest Region.

Ferraro was most recently West Coast Sales Director at MySpace, where she was the first-ever sales executive hired. Magyar brings 10 years of experience to BUZZMEDIA, having previously held management and sales positions with Yahoo!, CBS and Thrillist. Beley joins BUZZMEDIA from Veoh Networks.

On the ad sales operations side, the company has promoted Karina Kogan to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Kogan has worked at BUZZMEDIA since 2008. She previously served as the Vice President of Marketing at PureVideo Networks and Senior Marketing Director of Citysearch. In addition, Emily Schwartz has joined as Ad Solutions Director. Schwartz previously served as Creative Services Manager at MySpace since 2006.
